NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Crews responded to a report of a fire at BB King's Blues Club downtown.
The call came in from the 100 block of 2nd Avenue North around 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The road was shut down in the area as crews worked at the scene.
Witnesses said the alarm went off inside, and the employees evacuated all of the customers.
Authorities said the electrical panel in the basement caught fire.
The building's fire suppression system was able to put the fire out before the fire department got there, but the basement sustained water and electrical damage.
No injuries were reported.
The club was set to remained closed for the rest of Wednesday night.
