Bed bugs were found in a Vanderbilt University dorm, forcing the students impacted to be relocated.
According to university officials one case of bed bugs was found in a single room of a suite in the Carmichael Towers residential complex on campus.
Officials said they would be investigating a possible second case in an adjoining suite.
University also implemented its established protocol to mitigate the situation and eliminate the pests.
The students impacted were relocated to another building on campus.
