A Sumner County teacher was charged over inappropriate relationship with a minor.
According to Sumner County Sheriff Sonny Weatherford, 52-year-old Patrick Jonathan Bruce Sr. was charged.
Bruce is a teacher at Beech High School in Hendersonville.
He was charged with solicitation of a minor to commit aggravated exploitation of a minor, solicitation of a minor to commit sexual battery by an authoritative figure and solicitation of a minor to commit aggravated statutory rape.
Details of the inappropriate relationship between him and the student were not released.
