Bellevue community members packed a room in the Bellevue YMCA for a public meeting called after a murder rocked the neighborhood.
Erik Helffenstein was shot and killed early Monday morning after chasing suspected car burglars from his neighborhood.
Dozens attended the community meeting, which was hosted by Metro Councilwoman Sheri Weiner.
People in Bellevue said they want more answers from police about the recent murder and officers to do more, but police say the community has to do better in reporting incidents.
The two suspects have not been caught. Police urge anyone with information to give them a call.
