Despite nationwide tech troubles, The Big Payback was still a huge success.
During the event earlier this month, the website was only live for nine hours, but more than $2.6 million was raised on the third annual "day of giving."
Since the website crashed mid-morning, non-profits involved were encouraged to keep raising money independently for two days.
The money raised will benefit 770 non-profits in Middle Tennessee. Last year, they raised $ 2.64 million.
