A measure involving the University of Tennessee has passed a House subcommittee.
The bill would strip the University of Tennessee's Office of Diversity and Inclusion of some of its funding.
An amendment to the measure also banned funds from being used to promote the university's Sex Week, the use of gender-neutral pronouns on campus, and the promotion or demotion of any religion.
