Black Friday Shoppers Deal With Crowded Stores, Parking Lots

Posted

Millions hit the stores bright and early for Black Friday deals, and that included shoppers right here in the Mid-State.

Finding the deals may have been the easy part compared to finding a parking space. Shoppers had to fight the crowds inside the stores as well as in the parking lots.

“Well we’ve tried both valets. They’re full,” one shopper said. “No parking spaces. We’ve just been going around and around.”

After circling the parking lot for 30 minutes, some became frustrated.

“I’m riding shotgun, and I wish I was behind the wheel,” a passenger joked.

Before heading to the stores, many shoppers had a game plan, and even the smallest shoppers had a goal.

“I’m looking for some clothes and some shoes,” one young shopper told us.

Those who woke up bright and early said the hassle was well worth it for the deals.

For anyone who couldn't make it out to grab any deals on Black Friday, there's always Cyber Monday. Online shoppers can find deals starting at midnight on Monday.
