Firefighters responded to a brush fire off Eastgate Boulevard in Lebanon.
According to Lebabon Police Department officials, a transformer blew on Tuesday and sent sparks into the surrounding dry field,
The patch of land is nestled between a few businesses on Eastgate and the westbound side of Interstate 40.
Officials asked drivers to avoid using Eastgate Boulevard for the next few hours as they continued to put out the flames.
