A property owner found the body of a murder victim on his land in Nashville.
South Precinct detectives have begun using fingerprints to identify the shooting victim.
The body was found with gunshot wounds in a field at 14656 Old Hickory Boulevard.
The property owner told police he was tending to his cattle at 9:45 Wednesday morning when he saw the body.
The victim is a man of Hispanic descent who appears to be in his late teens or early 20s. He carried no identification.
Neighbors in the area told detectives that they heard what sounded like gunshots in the 11 p.m.-11:30 p.m. timeframe Tuesday night.
