MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — A pressure cooker left at the entrance of a Murfreesboro school caused a scare Friday.

It was left outside Cason Lane Academy. Staff found it just before 1p.m. and called the Murfreesboro Police Department, who called the Tennessee Highway Patrol bomb squad.

Bomb squad members inspected it and determined it was safe. However they still don't know how or why the pressure cooker was at the school.
