MADISON, Tenn. (WTVF) — Brides on a budget! Today was the annual Goodwill Gown Sale in Madison and it drew hundreds of women!
Goodwill collects formal dresses throughout the year at locations across Tennessee and then puts them out for the first time at the big sale at the Rivergate location.
Shoppers rushed into the store when the doors opened at seven this morning. The store put out about 400 gowns all priced under 200-dollars..and we’re told one dress originally retailed for three-thousand dollars!
The dresses were either donated from brides or brand new!
Colorful prom and bridesmaids dresses, shoes and jewelry were big sellers too.
Goodwill says the sale doesn’t end today, but don’t expect the items to last very long.
