NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A car that wasstolen from a young couple outside a sober living house has been found.

Bruce Whitten was volunteering at the Last Stop Club on Sunday afternoon when a man outside asked about 12-step meetings. He said that same man was seen on camera taking his keys and driving off in his wife's car.

His wife Lisa Whitten said the car is in bad shape and the towing and damages will be a hard hit for the family, but she's thankful to have closure.

She said the car has sentimental value as it belonged to her grandfather who gave it to her after he died.

The Whittens said the car was found thanks to their story being shared on NewsChannel 5.

Because they are unable to have the damages covered by insurance, a GoFundMe page has been set up to help the couple raise money to fix the car.
