A long-time display left Centennial Park, but didn't go very far.
The iconic F-86 L Sabre jet was dismantled Monday and will return to the Tennessee Air National Guard base at Berry Field.
The aircraft had been on display in the park for more than 35 years. Before that, it was used as playground equipment.
