A local center has opened to veterans returning home to help them restart their lives as civilians.
Pathway Lending's Veterans Business Outreach Center opened Thursday in the 200 block of Venture Circle to service members and their families. It offers free or low-cost training and counseling to help them become entrepreneurs.
Officials who hosted the opening said vets make a great fit in the business world.
Pathway Lending will be one of a handful of businesses nationwide to function as a veterans business outreach center.
