A celebration was held for an organization that gives so much to Music City.
Charles Strobel and Catholic Charities were honored Saturday afternoon. The organization is behind several programs that feed Nashville’s hungry.
Strobel said it started with something simple.
“The best we could do was give peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, so that led to a soup kitchen and Room in the Inn," Strobel said. "So I want to say, never underestimate the power of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich."
