Need to get into the holiday spirit? How about real-life reindeer? On a chilly day in Nashville, you'd expect a few flurries, but you don't don't expect to find Woodland Reindeer.

"Finland, Norway, Sweden. Really the North Pole. If you think of all the countries at the top of the planet you're gonna find reindeer there," said Reindeer Keeper Diana Hash.

Now, you'll find them at Cheekwood, part of the garden's December "Holiday Lights" event.

"We have Jolly, she's the larger of the two. She's about eight years old and she is the mother of the other one, Nick," Hash said.

Jolly and Nick spend their days munching and playing. They kick around their 'Kong' toy like big dogs.

Hash says they go by different names depending on where you find them. They're called reindeer but they're also called caribou.

So stop by, say hi, and meet two of Santa's favorites before they fly away.
