NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A chiropractor in Nashville was arrested and charged for his alleged actions with a female patient.

Kirk W. Jones, 69, was arrested on a grand jury indictment Tuesday in Davidson County. He was charged with two counts of sexual battery without consent.

Metro Police say they began investigating Jones in September after a 24-year-old patient of his called them after leaving his office on Belle Forrest Circle.

The woman told police she had gone there for a chiropractic issue and said Jones' contract with her that day was "sexual in nature" and occurred without her consent.

The District Attorney's Office began investigating in September and was present to a grand jury earlier this month.

Jones' bond was set at $10,000.
