Metro Nashville Police officials said Antioch church shooting suspect, Emanuel Samson, obtained all four guns he had on him the day of the attack legally.
A relative of the 25-year-old bought three of the guns found at the scene: 40-caliber handgun, a 9 milli-meter handgun, and a military-style A-R 15 rifle found in a case in Samson's vehicle.
Police said the relative said the guns were given to Samson for safe keeping.
Another pistol, a 22-caliber found in the suspect's SUV was legally bought by Samson.
He did not have a Tennessee handgun carry permit, but one isn't required to buy a firearm.
Samson will be in court next Friday.
