Nashville - If you're looking for some high-flying fun this weekend, Cirque du Soleil's CORTEO is in Nashville. It's somewhere between art and athletics.
"[The performers] are working out throughout the day. They're making sure they're keeping in good shape," said one of the show's promoters, Maxwell Batista.
There are 51 performers from 18 different countries. They spin and fly and tell the tale of a clown, dreaming about his own funeral.
"You see his friends from all over the world in different circuses coming to see him and show all the amazing skills that they have," said Batista.
He says if you haven't seen Cirque du Soleil, now Nashvillians have their chance.
"All of us all the performers are super excited to be here because it's Music City. We have live music in the show," he said.
CORTEO will perform at Bridgestone Arena in until Sunday the 29.
