NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — City employees are working to make sure your kids are safe during Child Passenger Safety Week, which starts Sunday.

The Metro Public Health Department and Opus inspections partnered to handed out flyers on car seat safety Friday.

Anyone who came in for their vehicle emissions test got one - they'll also be available though September.

It's important to make sure your child is in the right car seat for their age and weight.

If you need help, you can get more information here, call the toll free number printed on your car seat or go to a fitting station.
