NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Nashville mayor and city officials have asked for the public's input on the Mayor's Transportation plan.

You can read the plan and fill out a survey here.

Mayor John Cooper's plan calls for an improved bus network with rapid transit corridors on Clarksville and Murfreesboro Pikes. Plus adding hundreds of miles of sidewalks, bikeways and greenways.

The plan includes things they heard from residents during a number of community meetings. And also responds to more than 600 requests for traffic calming in neighborhoods.
