CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Montgomery County man has been convicted of fatally stabbing a woman inside a residence in 2014.

Joshua Black was found guilty on several charges Wednesday, including premeditated murder and especially aggravated kidnapping.

Investigators said the 22-year-old stabbed Nancy Lowry multiple times at the Miller Town Apartments back in April 2014.

Officers were called to the scene after reports of an early morning disturbance.

Lowry was taken to an area hospital and was pronounced dead. She left behind four children.

Black was expected to be sentenced in October.
