Middle Tennessee Comcast customers experienced an outage for most of the day.
According to the Comcast Director of Public Relations Sara Jo Walker, the company experienced a service interruption Wednesday.
The outage impacted the Comcast Business Voice and VoiceEdge Select services.
The company apologized for the inconvenience and said engineers began working to address the issue immediately.
Services have reportedly been restored to most customers, but some were still without service.
Walker said in part, "We have every resource focused on getting everyone back online and apologize again to the customers who were affected."
