Comcast has filed a lawsuit against Nashville over the One Touch Make Ready ordinance passed by Metro Council.
Comcast joined the company of AT&T, who also sued the city for the same ordinance.
The issue centers around how companies, and the city are handling the equipment on top of utility poles, and who gets to move that equipment.
In an effort to bring Google Fiber to Nashville Google wanted to be able to move components on the top of those utility poles -- components that are owned by other internet providers like AT&T.
In the suit, Comcast claimed that "The Ordinance upsets Comcast’s settled expectations and conflicts with both federal law and Comcast’s vested rights and benefits under the NES Agreement."
