NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Cornhole has not only been described as backyard fun, it has also become a competitive sport.

A friendly tournament was held Saturday at Centennial Park as part of the weekly Musicians Corner.

The play was sponsored by Hospital Hospitality House of Nashville.

The non-profit has been a home away from home for patients and family members who are getting medical treatment in Nashville.

"They might be people from out of the city who have driven in a long way, so the idea of commuting back and forth from their hospital to the home is not a reality,” said Tyler Brantley of Hospital Hospitality House of Nashville. “So Hospital Hospitality House provides them all the amenities of home here in town. So they can really focus on what's important, which is getting care for the ones they love."
