MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WTVF) — Country music star Travis Tritt's tour bus was involved in a fatal crash that killed two people early Saturday morning.

Sharing information on the crash on social media, Tritt said there was a driver who was driving on the wrong side of the road as he was leaving Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

"We were just involved in a fatal accident with a driver going the wrong way on Veteran's Highway as we were leaving Myrtle Beach. Thank God we are all okay. I feel so bad for those who died needlessly tonight. I'm really shaken up by what I witnessed. God bless those who died."

In a follow-up tweet, Tritt said the bus sustained minor damage as they tried to avoid the main crash site in front of them.

Tritt also said, "I beg everyone to please, please, please drive sober. Know when to admit that you are too impaired to drive."
