Court Date Pushed Back For Waffle House Shooting Suspect

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The court date for the man accused of opening fire and killing four people at an Antioch Waffle House has been pushed back.

A court appearance had been scheduled for Travis Reinking. He's been charged with four counts of criminal homicide.

The 29-year-old wasn't expected to appear before the judge for the proceeding. Court would resume in three weeks for a state check.

Online records of the Davidson County Sheriff's Office show he is being held without bond in a secure area of the Metro Nashville Jail.

Police say Reinking was nearly naked and wearing only a green jacket when he was shooting people with an AR-15 rifle inside and outside the restaurant. Authorities said four other people were injured, including a man who wrestled the gun away from Reinking.
