NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Department of Health reported an increase of 10,421 positive COVID-19 cases and 115 COVID-19 deaths Friday, making December the worst month in Tennessee since the pandemic.

Friday's increase made it the worst week for COVID-19 cases in Tennessee.
December is now also the deadliest month for COVID-19 in Tennessee, and Friday's increase - with one more day still to go - made it the deadliest week of the pandemic.
