NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police found several items used for credit card skimming while responding to a welfare check at a Nashville motel.

Officers were called to a Rivergate Parkway motel on Sunday. According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville police, Stephen Brumlow was found sweating “profusely” and had “pinpoint eyes.”

Police say Brumlow insisted there was nothing wrong with him. Officers ran his information and found that he had a warrant out for his arrest in Georgia.

Inside his room, officers found devices with wires and antennas used to connect to ATMs or gas pumps. They also found 28 room keys from the motel and a pair of binoculars.

The 43-year-old has been charged with criminal simulation, being a fugitive from justice and for having an automated suppression device.
