Police have identified a 19-year-old who was fatally shot on 16th Avenue North.
The incident happened at 9:20 p.m. Saturday at Wheless Street.
The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Joseph Hull, of 16th Avenue North.
Reports stated Hull was believed to have been sitting outside of his girlfriend’s car on the sidewalk when he was shot in the groin. Officials said the shooter was unknown.
Officers who first arrived at the scene administered first aid. Hull was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.
