NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Nashville's "Dancin' in the District" is back. It's been 10 years since the event left Broadway and organizers say it's time to bring it back.

Organizers say the concerts revitalized Lower Broadway.

The event started in the early 1990's and worked to reconnect Music City with the music that gave it its name.

Tomkats Hospitality Group CEO Tom Morales hopes it reminds people once again that Broadway is about discovering music.

He says the event is all about the fun and great music, rather than the celebrities that will play.
