Emergency responders began preparing for the Battle of the Badges in Nashville.
Battle of the Badges is a friendly competition all donating blood and even those who aren't first responders can play a part.
The date to know is July 16 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Volunteers can go to Nissan Stadium to give blood that's when they decide whether the credit should go toward Metro Police, Nashville Fire, or the Davidson County Sheriff's.
The agency with the most donations at the end win. It's a friendly competition that starts with a little trash talking.
