Lanes of Interstate 40 West in Nashville were briefly blocked after debris from a truck fell onto a car.
While the debris was initially speculated to have been a portion of the bridge, there has been no major damage identified to the bridge itself, signifying that what fell into the lane was either a piece of the truck or a portion of the truck's load.
The incident happened shortly before noon Wednesday near Demonbreun Street.
A semi flatbed truck struck the bridge over the Broadway exit, causing debris to fall onto a car below.
The Nashville Fire Department confirmed one person was evaluated at the scene. The extent of his or her injuries was not known.
