A delayed Tennessee Department of Transportation road project in south Nashville has caused several concerns for frequent drivers in the area.
The project, which started in April, is roughly four miles along Nolensville Pike.
Resident Paul King lives near the road and said traveling on it can be a headache.
"Right now, I've got three nails in the back of my tire and every time I hit a bump more air comes out," he said.
"It's not good. Nobody likes it, everyone thought it would be done sooner," he said.
King and others living in the 16th district thought the repaving project would be finished by now but others are asking residents to be patient.
"There has been a delay because (TDOT) is working with the public works to install some conduit under the roadway at different intersections for future improvements," councilman Mike Freeman said.
Freeman said the project will restart after Memorial Day and is expected to be completed by June 30 according to a TDOT spokesperson.
