NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Monday Night Football is coming to NewsChannel5, for one night at least.
Due to the COVID-19 related delay of Sunday's scheduled matchup between New England and Kansas City, the game will air Monday on NewsChannel5 with coverage beginning at 6 p.m. CT.
NewsChannel5 at 6 will air on all streaming platforms including Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and on Newschannel5.com.
The game was delayed for teams to undergo further COVID-19 testing after players on both teams, including Patriots Quarterback Cam Newton tested positive this weekend.
An outbreak of COVID-19 on the Tennessee Titans earlier this week forced the NFL to postpone the today's Titans-Steelers game to Oct. 25.
