Delays and cancelations could be ahead for even more Southwest Airlines customers this weekend.
Lines were long at times on Friday at Nashville International Airport two days after a network outage rocked the airline’s entire system.
Many flights, not only at Nashville’s airport but at almost 100 airports across the country, have been grounded or cancelled causing a PR nightmare for the company.
Officials went on Facebook Friday to try and give customers reassurance and explain what it takes to get 34,000 flights and crews back on track.
Company officials said they hope by Sunday things can be smoothed out. That's when a new flight week starts and a new pool of pilots and flight attendants will be available.
