NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Demonstrators gathered at Legislative Plaza for a Juneteenth "March for Justice: In remembrance and celebration of all the victims of racism and police brutality."
Nearly 1,000 people attended the rally and march Friday, which began on the plaza.
Multiple activists spoke about the ongoing injustices facing the black community and remembered the lives of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.
The crowd then marched to Broadway, where they continued to protest and even stopped for a "Swag Surfin'" flash mob.
