WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 5-week-old baby was rescued Wednesday morning after the baby was accidentally locked inside a car.

The Wilson County Sheriff's Department says Sgt. Kyle Wright came to the baby's rescue in the Gladeville area.

Deputies say a 3-year-old accidentally hit the lock button while getting out of the vehicle. The keys were still inside.

Sgt. Wright is a 22-year veteran with the Wilson County Sheriff's Office.
