NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Music icon Dolly Parton is scheduled to play a full concert in Music City for the first time in more than a decade.
Dolly Parton: Pure and Simple has been set for July 31 at the historic Ryman Auditorium. The show marks the first concert Dolly has headlined in Nashville in 12 years.
The benefit concert will raise money for the W.O. Smith School of Music. Since 2008, the concert has had the support of such artists as Ronnie Dunn, Kellie Pickler, Dierks Bentley and Lady Antebellum.
Tickets, ranging in price from $55 to $85, are set to go on sale this Saturday.
Dolly is also scheduled to perform four shows at Dollywood in August. Those concerts have already sold out.
