City officials canceled Donelson Christmas Parade due to property issues.
The parade has become a tradition for Donelson neighbors.
The cancelation was posted to the Donelson-Hermitage Chamber of Commerce website.
Officials said property used as a staging area of the parade won't be available this year. When organizers found out, it was too late to change the parade route.
