Cars Damaged In Downtown Tire Slashing

Dozens of cars were damaged in downtown Nashville when someone slashed their tires.

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said more than 41 people reported damage to their cars Saturday night.

Bar manager, Danny McNeill, was one of the more than 3 dozen people who found their vehicle damaged in the early morning hours on Sunday.

He said he walked to his car after working Saturday night, and found two of his tires slashed while it was parked inside the Commerce Street Garage, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues.

It was unclear who was responsible. Police said they were working Right now they are working with the city parking authority to look for answers.

Metro officials said they were also looking into surveillance video near the area.
