Dozens Of Dogs Rescued From Clay Co. Home

Posted

Nearly two-dozen dogs have been rescued in Clay County so that they could receive care and treatment.

A total of 20 dogs were found fending for themselves on a property in Whitleyville.

They were apparently left behind by their owner after they moved away two-weeks ago.

Officials with Animal Rescue Corps said the only water source for the animals was mostly frozen, dirty rainwater, and there was broken glass and other debris on the property.

Sadly, three dogs had died. The animals were taken to an emergency shelter where they could get help.
