A Murfreesboro man was charged with his third DUI after police found him asleep at the wheel in Franklin.
Franklin Police officers arrested 29-year-old Phillip Booth after they found him asleep and impaired on the side of McEwen Drive near Cool Springs Boulevard.
Booth was charged with DUI – Third Offense, and with being a Habitual Motor Vehicle Offender.
He was released on a $30,000 bond. He was required to wear a SCRAM (Secure, continuous remote alcohol monitor) device, which measures blood alcohol levels through perspiration on the skin.
Booth was scheduled to appear in court on May 5 at 1 p.m.
