NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police were called to an area along Briley Parkway after a driver struck a pole and fled the scene.
The incident happened early Thursday morning in northbound lanes near Glastonbury Road.
Metro Nashville police confirmed the driver hit the pole and then fled the area.
The impact of the crash knocked down some power lines in the area.
The wreck also caused a portion of Briley Parkway to briefly close.
