A driver was taken to an area hospital after crashing into a pole near a Kroger in Madison.
The incident happened early Wednesday morning on Gallatin Pike South near Old Hickory Boulevard.

It’s unclear what caused the crash.
The driver had to be extricated from the car. She suffered non-life threatening injuries.
