An attack at a fast food restaurant's drive-thru led to two people being arrested on drug charges. Two small children were also found inside the vehicle.
The incident happened at a McDonald's drive-thru on Charlotte Pike in Nashville.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, the suspects ordered large sodas and then threw one of the cups back through the window, drenching the clerk.
Officers arrived just as the car was pulling out of the lot and stopped the couple, at which point the male suspect allegedly made death threats.
A search of the car found narcotics, along with two small children – a 4-year-old and 5-month-old – in the backseat.
The suspects were arrested and booked into the Davidson County Jail on multiple charges, including felony drugs.
The children were placed into the custody of the Department of Children’s Services.
