Nashville celebrated Earth Day the best way it knew how - food trucks and music at Centennial Park.
More than 10,000 people visited the Earth Day festival.
It spotlighted many kinds of global music, dancing, and even a beer garden. Mayor Megan Barry was there for the citywide Spring Clean event.
Yet, officials with the Nashville Earth Day Committee said every day can be Earth Day if you let it.
"This is a really great example of what can happen on one day, and what you can learn. But we really want to stress that Earth Day is every day, and if you missed it today, it's not over! You can do something tomorrow, the next day, get outside and enjoy our beautiful parks. There's always something you can do for the earth!"
The earth-friendly festival also featured a green market where all the products for sale were organic or locally made.
