NewsChannel 5 has teamed up with the United Way for its Stuff the Bus campaign.
The event has been providing school supplies for at-risk students in Nashville.
Many items like scissors, composition notebooks, and markers have been needed.
Organizers have asked that the items remain in their original packaging.
The items can be dropped off in a box outside of the NewsChannel 5 station on James Robertson Parkway.
Those who donate have been asked to tweet a selfie to us @NC5 as the donation is made using the hashtag “#stuffthebus.”
Volunteers will also be needed when it comes time to sort the donations into backpacks.
