NASHVILLE, Tenn. - An elderly woman suffering from dementia boogied her way through physical therapy.
Mrs. Euginia's daughter was recording her while doing her exercises at Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Nashville earlier this month.
As Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" played through the room, it didn't take long for Mrs. Euginia to start moving.
Her routine leg stretches in front of other patients in wheel chairs quickly turned into a boogie on a crowded dance floor.
Her daughter's giggle can be heard in the background as she watched from the back of the room.
"She has dementia and [is] enjoying her last days. I love my mother," she told NewsChannel 5.
