A Murfreesboro pawn shop fell victim to counterfeit Gibson guitars.

According to the Murfreesboro Police Department 47-year-old Carl Michael Layne Jr. sold two fake giutars at Tom's Pawn and Wholesale Jewelry.

The sell was made back in September on two separate occasions. The guitars were made to look like the iconic Zach Wyle Gibson Les Pauls, which are valued at $750.
